Renovation
Some furniture needs more extensive frame restoration or upholstery. We work with Spencer Samson in Kendal (Tel. No. 01539 723483), an experienced antique restorer and Dalesbred Upholstery www.dalesbred.co.uk who offer the full range of upholstery.
Reseating Classes
Personal tuition in all chairseating methods can be booked to suit you. Lessons work well as part of a weekend break or combined with one of the many events and festivals organised in the town.
Opening Hours
These are usually 9.30am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, and Sundays by appointment. Collections and deliveries can be made out of hours by appointment. It is advisable to telephone before bringing a chair.
Delivery & Collection
Chairs are normally brought by our customers and a visit to Sedbergh is a pleasant day out. www.sedbergh.org.uk If transport is not possible we can arrange collection and delivery. The fee is agreed with the driver.
